You have 7 shots to hit a total of 6 drones. Each ball has the chance to hit multiple targets before it lands.
The ball follows the direction of the sliding arrow. Click “KICK” when you are ready take your shot.
The game is over when all drones are destroyed or you run out of balls.

 

How you collect points

Large drones - 2,500 points
Medium drones - 3,200 points
Small drones - 4,500 points

 

Bonus points

Accuracy - hit the drone as close to the centre as you can and you’ll be awarded an accuracy bonus.
Multiple-Hit - hit more than one drone with one ball and you’ll be awarded a multiple-hit bonus.
Time - hit all the drones within 30 seconds and you’ll be awarded a time bonus.
Remaining balls - pick up a bonus for any remaining balls you have left.

  1. By entering DRONE KICK (“the Competition"), all participants are deemed to have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
  2. Standard Life Investments Limited, a company registered in Scotland under the Companies Act (company number SC123321) with a registered office at 1 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2LL (“SLI”) is the promoter of the Competition and may cancel or amend the Competition, or these terms and conditions, without any prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on http://thelions.standardlifeinvestments.com/.
  3. The Competition is free, optional and open to all members of the public in the UK and Ireland.
  4. Entry and play of the Competition will run in 3 parts; from 1-23 June (“Part 1”), 24-30 June (“Part 2”), and 1-10 July (“Part 3”) (all from 9am start to 5pm close time BST). A different prize pool for each part of the game will apply and will be documented accordingly.
  5. There will be 6 prizes for each phase of the competition Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. To participate, entrants must visit drone.theworldwidepartner.com, follow the instructions, play the game and enter their details where required. The closing time for Part 1 of the Competition is 5pm BST on 23 June 2017, for Part 2, 5pm BST on 30 June 2017 and for Part 3, 5pm BST on 10 July 2017. A participant can only win one prize in each Part of the Competition.
  6. There will be 6 prizes for each phase of the competition Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Each phase will have different prizes as listed below. The prizes will be awarded to the first six people on the leaderboard at competition close in the following order (the Winner(s)):

  7. Prizes are transferable. The items can be gifted to a friend, relation or colleague of the Winner(s) if they cannot be used personally.
  8. Where a prize is unavailable for any reason beyond the control of SLI, a prize of similar value will be provided. No alternative prize or cash equivalent is available.
  9. SLI reserve the right to extend the closing date or terminate the Competition and withhold the prize(s) where events beyond their reasonable control make such action necessary. All decisions by SLI as promoter of the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. All Winners of the Competition will be notified by email no later than 5pm BST 26 June for Part 1, 5pm BST 3 July for Part 2 and 5pm BST 11 July for Part 3. In the event that the Winner (s) of the Competition cannot be contacted within 10 working days from the first point of contact, SLI reserves the right to refer back to the eligible entries to select an alternate Winner(s) such person being the next individual listed on the final leaderboard below the selected Winners, in accordance with the terms of clause 6.
  11. SLI may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards SLI or SL staff which they reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified SLI reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
  12. In the event of a tie, a draw will be used to decide the Winner(s) at the discretion of SLI.
  13. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, SLI and their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond their control and for any act or default of any third party supplier.
  14. SLI will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the Winners for reasons beyond their reasonable control.
  15. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that Standard Life Investments or the Standard Life group may process the personal data that the entrant provides, to administer the Competition, to coordinate and award the prize and to contact you about products and services which we feel may be of interest to you. The entrant's personal data may be shared for these purposes with the other companies within the Standard Life Group and third party service providers. Standard Life Investments will process the personal data in accordance with its data protection policy (www.standardlifeinvestments.com/legal_information.html#data_protection). If participants want to request a copy of the information Standard Life Investments hold about them, they should write to Standard Life Investments at the registered address above. If any of the personal information is incorrect, Standard Life Investments will correct it as soon as reasonably possible once notified by the entrant.
  16. By accepting the prizes, the Winners agree that SLI may use and publish their name on the leaderboard and in any media in connection with the Competition. They also agree to take part in reasonable publicity with the SLI including but not limited to interviews and photos with the press.
  17. The Winner's name will be available on written request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Standard Life Investments at the address noted below within 14 working days of the date of closing of the Competition.
  18. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising out of it.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland and the Irish courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising out of it.
